385 HP and 750 Nm for RS5 TDI Concept from Audi

The biggest headline in the presentation of Audi RS5 is its diesel propulsion.

Soon to be showcased in Leipzig, Audi RS5 TDI is already famous for its six-cylinder engine working on diesel fuel which together with an electric supercharger might show 385 hp and fantastic torque of 750 Nm. With a 320-Nm advantage over the petrol counterpart, RS5 TDI is 65 hp back from the latter.

Turbodiesel direct injection mill is not a coincidence. It is meant to commemorate the release of Audi’s first car with such propulsion. Initially presented 25 years ago, now the TDI motor of the German brand allows sprints to 62 mph in approximately 4 seconds before reaching a maximum 174-mph mark. Standard RS5 is 0.6 seconds back and can accelerate to 155 mph, tops.
