Cadillac ELR of 2016 Delayed, but will be of Enhanced Autonomy

New information about the Cadillac ELR appeared.

The offering was thought to be presented at the Auto Show in Los Angeles last week. Though, GM Inside News reported that the disclosing was held back because of “system integration issues”. This does not make the customers exited, but the sources state that the model is going to become a “highly autonomous car” and that is why some of its systems need more time to be perfected.

If to believe the reports, the ELR of 2016 may be the first vehicle offering the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving program. According to our previous reports, Super Cruise uses ultrasonic sensors, GPS data control of the steering, radar, cameras, braking system and acceleration under concrete driving conditions.
