Fuel Economy Ratings of 2016 Mazda CX-3

Mazda has shared fuel economy ratings for the 2016 CX-3.

The latest CX-3 nets 29 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway. If these numbers are combined, it makes 31 mpg. The power is sent only to the front wheels. With four-wheel drive the vehicle’s ratings will be dropped down to 27 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway. Together these numbers make 29 mpg.

The innovated CX-3 is equipped with a 2.0-litre V4 engine which provides 146 hp and torque of 146 lb-ft.

We can compare the model with the Honda HR-V which shows 28 mpg in the city, 35 mpg on the highway and is equipped with a CVT and front-wheel drive. The vehicle under consideration fuel economy ratings appear to be only a little bit more economical in the city. “A little bit” means just one mpg.
