Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport L'Or Blanc: Made of Porcelain, Much Faster Than a Tea Pot

As if Bugatti’s Veyron Grand Sport wasn’t extravagant or unique enough, the ultra-exotic auto manufacturer has unveiled a truly one-of-a-kind vehicle dubbed the L’Or Blanc.

In collaboration with Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur, this Veyron Grand Sport features porcelain on its body and in its cabin. Stop rubbing your eyes, the most unusual material imaginable that can be used on a car has found its way on one of the world’s fastest convertibles.

True to Bugatti form though, the utilization of porcelain really stands for an experiment with new materials, something Ettore Bugatti exemplified. Presented in Berlin, the L’Or Blanc can claim to be the world’s fastest porcelain and carries a price tag of $2.4 million based on today’s conversion rates.

And really, as crazy as the utilization of porcelain is, its the unique blue and white-swirled exterior finish on the L’Or Blanc that really sets it apart from the crowd.
