Concept of Silverado Special Ops will be produced by Chevy

Chevrolet has stated that the Silverado Special Ops concept will flow into production. However, it will be limited.

The model under consideration showed up at the Army-Navy football game held on Saturday. It will be launched for production in spring of 2016. The company is going to donate a part of the profit from every vehicle to the museum of Navy SEAL.

Chevrolet didn't share much information about the production car. We know that the concept derived from the Silverado 1500 Z71. Besides, it boasted a naval camouflage exterior. There were LED auxiliary lights and black grille inserts. The truck also benefitted from 20-inch alloys, new rocker guards, off-road tyres, black bowtie emblems and a GearOn utility rack.

As to the cabin, it has received some minor enhancements. There were Ejector Orange accents, waterproof seat covers and camouflaged inspired trim inside the car.

Speaking of the performance, we can’t help mentioning that the concept received a high-performance braking set-up, an innovated air intake and a sports exhaust set-up. To our pity, these features will not be offered on the special edition.

The executive director of the museum of Navy SEAL made a statement. He spoke about the partnership. According to him, it will give them a chance to aid the families of injured, active duty and fallen Navy SEALs through the efforts of the Trident House and different scholarship schemes.
