Hyundai, ARK Reveal Legato Model Before SEMA Event

The newest in a series of heavily upgraded Hyundai models bound for this year’s SEMA Event was uncovered today.

Based on the Genesis Coupe Hyundai and ARK Performance “Legato Concept” was just revealed. The vehicle is meant to take Hyundai’s current Genesis Coupe and extend it to “concept vehicle levels.” ARK went about that aim by adding a wide-body kit, fresh front and rear bumpers, side skirts and a various decklid.

There’s much more here than a list of superficial body enhancements as well. The stock 3.8-liter V6 is stroked out to 4 liters with much of the internal details having been substituted too. Other under-hood performance upgrades feature the intake, exhaust, oil cooler, crank shaft, connecting rods and much more. The result is a higher-performing motor constructed to be durable with 401 hp and 426 lb-ft of torque.

A coil-over suspension provides better handling and the stock wheels have also been substituted with lightweight Rays units. Carbon brake pads provide the vehicle better stopping power while also lowering brake fade while Nitto NT05 tires help to enhance grip during performance driving.
