Hyundai will Uncover 370-HP Veloster at SEMA Show

Hyundai has cooperated with Fox Marketing Cars to create a wildly customized Veloster. Far more than just a fancy paint job this car is the most powerful “street-targeted” Veloster ever. It will be presented at the Annual SEMA event in Las Vegas, Nevada in just around a week and a half.

Under its 2-tone hood is a familiar 1.6-liter force-fed 4-cylinder, just like a showroom-fresh variant of the vehicle. In this application it’s been totally overhauled to deliver huge power.

With a fresh turbo and front-fitted intercooler, water-methanol injection and a special ECU tune it provides 370 horsepower running on 101-octane gasoline.

On the chassis front this vehicle includes a fully adjustable coil-over suspension and a strut brace. Beyond these details the driver is protected with a 4-point harness while 6-piston front calipers and special 13.6-inch wavy-cut rotors bring everything to a safety, fade-free stop.

This unique Hyundai Veloster Turbo is surely kitted out with all kinds of other exceptional styling and design features. It’s received a new front lip spoiler, a custom rear mesh fascia and a black tow strap, to name but a few.
