A Smaller Discovery and fourth Range Rover from Land Rover

Design leader of Land Rover disclosed a few details about the company’s perspectives at the Motor Show in Paris.

In one of the interviews at the Motor Show in Paris, the design director stated that the Discovery range will be enhanced beyond the current two models. Currently, the family includes the Freelander 2 which will be substituted by Discovery Sport in 2015 and the larger Discovery which will get a new generation in two years.

The distinctness of the third offering from Discovery range has not been revealed yet, though Jaguar Land Rover worldwide operations leader stated about a possibility of smaller offering which can be put beneath the lately disclosed Discovery Sport. Though, an official launch must not be expected soon, since the offering will debut a few years.

Genry McGovern, the design director has also corroborated perspectives for a fourth special Range Rover which will take place along the Evoque, Range Rover and Range Rover Sport. It is not going to be a variant of the previous model. The design director also stated that it won’t have seven seats and it won’t be a coupe.
