John Cooper Works Treatment for Mini Convertible

The new hot variant of the Mini Convertible is ready.

The Mini John Cooper Works Convertible has taken all the best from the hardtop offering and provides the fun of open-air rides. A 2.0-litre turbocharged motor generating 228 hp and torque of 236 lb-ft joined to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The car will be able to accelerate 0-60 mph in 6.4 seconds with manual gearbox. Equipped with automatic gearbox it will sprint in 6.3 seconds.

The vehicle will be available with dynamic damper control. Meanwhile chassis improvements will be regular. Bigger Brembo brakes handle slowing this tiny rocket pocket down.

LED headlamps and regular 17-inch wheels are included. Expect red and black colour scheme inside the cabin and some style provided by the JWC.

The Mini John Cooper Works Convertible will cost $36,450 and the convertible will be sold for $26,800.
