Upcoming Austrian Presentation of Concept from Seat

An event at Wörthersee, Austria, will surely feature at least one exciting debut as Spanish Seat chose it to showcase Ibiza Cupster concept.

Seat is ready to commemorate the 30th birthday of its Ibiza model by revealing a design whimsicality called Cupster concept. Those eager to see it firsthand should go to Wörthersee GTI meeting next week. The concept has a sloped windscreen and bent windows. Front bumper welcomes the audience with Cupra insignia. The body is finished in fresh orange and put on alloy wheels 18 inches in diameter.

Rear bumper reveals a spoiler and exhaust system ends with pipes at the centre. Turbo petrol propulsion with the displacement of 1.4 litres has been borrowed from the standard Ibiza Cupra and its output totals 176 hp and torque of 184 lb-ft. This works with direct-shift gearbox through front-wheel drive. The driver and passengers will notice a lower position in the cab. Peculiar rounded seats and steering wheel carefully packed in aniline finish the interior ensemble of the unusual vehicle.

Company’s design team has developed the car which will not achieve a production counterpart.
