Paparazzi pictured Skoda Snowman / Polar Latest Test Mule in the Alps

The Skoda Snowman / Polar latest test mule has been snapped in the Alps before its official reveal in the end of this year.

The test mule is wearing the stretched body of a Yeti. The cabin reminds of the 5-seat compact crossover. The latest high-riding offering is going to be significantly bigger, almost 4.6 metres in length. This is not the end, the car will have more space in its cabin. The cabin will accommodate up to 7 people. Though, if the passenger is tall, it is better not to seat him at the rearmost seats.

The Polar or Snowman moniker is expected to be used for the intermediate SUV. The vehicle will have the MQB B platform and receive a regular front-wheel drive layout. Select engines will be joined to an AWD set-up. This will supply the car with some good off-road functionability and huge towing capacity.

As it is Skoda, therefore, the 7-seat SUV will have the interior with the biggest amount of space in its class. It will also pack an abundance of Simply Clever equipment as we can see it in the latest Superb. The vehicle is equipped with a removable LED torch, a mechanically retractable towing device and an ice scraper.

The offering will be revealed in the end of 2015. Then it will be launched for production at the automaker’s Kvasiny plant. The vehicle’s sales will start at the beginning of 2016.
