The Chinese company is preparing a low budget 'Land Cruiser' copy
The legendary SUV Toyota Land Cruiser 200 has never been affordable for people with average and below average earnings.
However, this does not prevent thousands of drivers from dreaming about the appearance of such an all-terrain vehicle in their garage.
To fix the situation, as always, Chinese companies took up. Hengtian Automobile decided to release its own LC200. Today it is known that the Chinese "Land Cruiser" clone will receive the name L4600.
The design of the chassis and the power frame of the body will be designed on the basis of the original Land Cruiser 200. At the same time, both cars are visually a little similar. Even the grille, which is made in the style of "Prado", comes into conflict with the basic idea.
Under the hood of the L4600 will be a 4.6-liter gasoline engine from Futai, producing 286 hp. And transmissions will be offered “mechanics” or “automatic”.
The Chinese Land Cruiser 200 will go on sale in early 2019. At the home market, Hengtian L4600 in China can be bought in 5-seater and 7-seater variants.
