Rendering of Audi R8 Originated from the Nanuk concept

Audi R8 of the next generation has been virtually rendered one more time before its presentation this year.

The renderings generate from the Nanuk concept which was presented at the IAA of 2013. The virtual version reminds the design cues of the crossover concept, but it can be characterized with a lower profile and smaller wheels. The designer has also equipped the model with new headlamps. The Audi badge has been located on the engine cowl.

It is known that the Audi R8 of the second generation will be sold with two powertrains. Both of them will be joined to a 7-speed dual-clutch gear box along with a quattro four-wheel drive system. Standard variant will be equipped with a 4.2-litre eight-cylinder powertrain producing 430 hp (or 316 kW) and torque of 430 Nm (or 317 lb-ft). The more powerful variant will be powered by a 5.2-litre ten-cylinder engine with 525 hp (or 386 kW) and torque of 530 Nm (or 391 lb-ft).
