Software Security Becomes Priority of Tesla

The American auto brand famous for its electric vehicles is seriously concerned with technological safety of its products and decided to stay on the safe side before it is too late.

With this in mind, Tesla opened vacancies of 30 professional hackers who will deal with the cars of the company taking probes of its safety shield and looking for defects making the devices weak to hackers’ attacks.

Ideas of this kind have begun to appear since the thematic convention. Then the brand announced that it was looking to hire its own hackers’ team. Apart from that, an intern programme is currently functioning with the executives promising to everyone who manages to defect a software flaw to enter the special online list and take a trip to the production site.

The automaker has high chances to experience both sides of technological progress. On the one hand, these Americans are innovative for adherence to internet, but on the other hand, systems are vulnerable through remote upgrades. A whole set of functions is controlled in this way, from locks on the doors to the navigator. In other words, unauthorized access to the centre console will almost definitely mean downright hacking of most devices.

Some sources indicate that Tesla has already received professional computer aid helping it to remove a significant flaw. At the moment it is only known that the Las Vegas hackers’ gathering did not result in official employment for anyone.
